Travel has always been more than a vacation for me. It’s been one of the most powerful ways I’ve learned about myself and the world. From the dramatic energy of Seoul to the coastal beauty of Portugal’s Riviera (Faro will always have my heart), to food filled adventures in Montreal, Italy, and Seattle, every trip has shaped how I see home, culture, and connection.

By day I’m a Special Education Coordinator, and that background shapes how I approach travel planning: thoughtful, detail-oriented, and focused on making experiences accessible for all kinds of people. I firmly believe travel isn’t just for the wealthy, the young, or the carefree. Travel is something everyone can experience, whether you’re traveling solo, with kids, on a budget, or celebrating something big.

Personally, I love reading, gaming, birdwatching, gardening, and staying active as a referee after years of coaching high school football. Those interests carry into how I travel too; I love authentic food, nature, culture, and experiences that engage all 5 senses: the sound of a new language, the textures of a marketplace, the smells of city street food, the vistas you can’t replicate at home.
